A few months back I got a deal on livingsocial.com for 1/2 off a book on shutterfly.com. If you have never used shutterfly, please check it out! I have made 3 books through them so far, and they are such fun things to have. Well my deal was expiring, and I didn't know what book to make, so I just put this one together. It is highlights from 2011-2012. You can then share the books on your blog/facebook and others can order them. I want to put a book together for family reunion when it comes time. Anyways, hope you enjoy this!

It is father's day, and I just have to express my appreciation and gratitude for my father, Scott Gentry. I will be the first to tell you I am not good at expressing my feelings, and putting them into words, but I will do my best.
I will just start by saying I have grown to appreciate and love my father more than ever since I left home just over two years ago. I never really realized how blessed I was to have him. I miss just sitting at the piano with him, and have him play while I sing on those quiet Sunday afternoons. I miss his late night trips to Walmart when he would bring home little treats. I love his sense of humor, and he is such a great example of a good man.
He retired from Show Low High School after teaching music for 31 years. I was able to go home for a few days to help him get his classroom ready for the next teacher coming in. Being there again made me realize so much. He has blessed so many people's lives with not only teaching them to love and appreciate music, but has made them a better person. Looking back at my high school years, he taught a lot of life lessons to all his students. I am just so thankful that I got to be one of those students, and I am thankful that he is my father. He has taught me so much in life. I love you Dad!
