Just wanted to write another quick blog on gratitude before November is over.
I know I said I was thankful for family in my last post, but I wanted to re-emphasize that. I cannot imagine being in any other family. They are wonderful people and I love them all so much. I am also very thankful for the family I married into... They are great people, and I feel so lucky to now be part of their family.
Friends... I have so many great and wonderful friends. Some I have no idea what or where I would be if I did not have them. Brooklyne and I have been best friends since birth pretty much. We live 16 hours away, but I still fill like I can talk to her no matter what. Rachel is my best friend here in California. She is so fun to hang out with, and I know I can talk to her about anything. I am thankful for Michael who has been living with Cameron and I since May. He has blessed us so much, and even though I can be a punk to him sometimes, it's just because he is such a good friend and we love him.
I am thankful for pets and the joy they bring into your life. I had Bright from when I was born until I was about 13 when she ran away in the Rodeo Chedeski fire. We think she was trying to find her way back home after we took her to Springerville when we had to evacuate. She would chase rocks, pinecones, anything! We would leave on long trips, and she would be there on the front porch when we came back. She never ran away... After Bright was gone, we got a new puppy from the humane society, Briggs. Briggs was a husky/malamute mix. We figured out quickly he had more malamute in him since he was so big! He was such a fun dog and loved to just run, especially in the snow (it's in his nature duh) and loved to play with the chickens we had. If they got out, he would chase them until he caught one in his mouth, and would just carry it around then let it go and chase it again. He never bit into a chicken, but I am sure they could have died from a heart attack. Cameron and I now have a little Siamese cat named Dexter. I always, always HATED cats because of the one my family had when I was little, it scratched my stomach and I have a scar, but after watching my coworker's cat for her while she was out on a 2 week trip, I really liked them and how entertaining they were. Dexter was abandoned in my coworker's friend's yard and was only about 4 weeks old. We took him in and have just been in love since. He is such a little varment, but it is entertaining. I love when he jumps up on our bed in the morning to give us cuddles and licks then just does his own thing most of the time. We find him in the most random places because of his curiosity, but he is so fun. I am thankful for all the pets I have had and the special place in my heart they all have.
That is all I have time for right now, but I just wanted to express some of the things I am grateful for. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

A lot of people are posting/blogging/facebooking what they are thankful for every day of this month.
It is hard for me to keep up with it every day, but I still want to take a few moments to just say what I am thankful for. They are not in any particular order, I just am writing what comes to mind first. I am only going to do a few today, and finish up another time this month. So, here we go.
This is a given, but I am so thankful for my husband. Cameron really is everything to me. I love that we can do nothing, but have a blast. I love that we play video games together. I love that we play sports together. I love that we make music together. I love when we drive in the car together. I love grocery shopping together. I love going to church together. I love going to the temple together. I love cooking for him. I love when he cooks for me. I love making fun of our cat Dexter together. I love how we don't go to bed until 1AM on work nights because we can't stop talking or being silly or being hyper together. I love how we hardly ever talk in normal voices together. I just love being together. No one in the world could be more perfect for me, and I am so thankful for his kind heart and for all the happiness he brings me.
I am thankful for my family. Every single one of them. I am grateful that I have two sisters just minutes from me, and that I get to spend time with them and their families. I am grateful for all of my siblings and for what examples they all are to me. I love that I can call them anytime just to talk and see how they are. I am so thankful for all my brothers and sisters-in-law. They all are so wonderful, and so fun. I am thankful for all my cute nieces and nephews. Every single one of them has a special place in my heart. I am thankful for Cameron's family and for how wonderful they all are. I am thankful for a wonderful mother-in-law and for the sweet spirit she always has with her. I am so, so thankful for the wonderful parents I have been blessed with. I just got a little choked up even typing that. It's really hard for me to be so far away from them, but it has brought us closer than ever I think. I can't express how truly thankful I am for them and for all they have done for me and for all they have taught me.
I am thankful for technology. The number one reason is because I get to keep in touch with all those I care about. I get to see and talk with family while I am cooking dinner, or relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. Talk on the phone for a few minutes whenever! Send home videos and pictures back and forth by the touch of a few buttons. See what they are up to that day by checking a Facebook status. It really is amazing how easy it is to keep in touch these days. I am thankful for that.
I am thankful for the opportunity I have to serve in the church right now. I am thankful that I get to teach the 9 year old's every other week. They teach me more than I teach them. But I love my calling. I am so thankful for the wonderful visiting teacher I have, and for her always being there for me whenever I need help. She is so great! Most of all, I am thankful for the temple. My life is so stressful, so busy all the time, always running somewhere or trying to get something done, but when I go to the temple, I get and feel peace. I am thankful that Cameron and I were able to be sealed together for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. I just feel so blessed.
I am so thankful for my job and for Cameron's job. I work with some of the most wonderful people, and the more and more I think about it, and the longer I am at this job (It's almost been 2 years already) I feel more and more blessed to have it, and think I take it for granted sometimes. I am thankful for Cameron's job. He had no idea he would ever be working for an insurance brokerage, and now a wonderful opportunity has opened up to him. His work is paying for him to continue his education and become a licensed insurance agent. That is a blessing! I am thankful for how they treat him as an employee and am thankful for those he works with. They are great people, and put up with Cameron when he is a little gremlin. Haha.
I am thankful for my car. May be kind of silly, but I have realized especially this week with having to drive Cameron to Sacramento and then drive back home. I drive to work, then drive back to Sacramento to pick him up, and drive back home, I was driving over 80 miles every day this week. I am just thankful for it functioning properly, and for the good gas mileage it gets :)
I am thankful for education and for how lucky I am that I get to do my schooling all online. (Another thing I love about technology) Although it has taken me a lot longer than I initially planned on to finish my degree in Court Reporting/Technology, I am still thankful that I have the opportunity to go to school and to start a career soon.
I am thankful for music. It has gotten me through a lot of emotions and a lot of trials. I love how it makes me feel when I listen to it, when I sing it, when I play it, when I make it. I just love everything about it. I am thankful once again to my parents for always having music around me and encouraging me to stick with my musical abilities.
I am thankful for modern healthcare. I have had a lot of health problems in my few years here already, but because of great doctors and such, I am doing great.
I am thankful for our home and where we live. I love it here in Roseville and love how we have everything just right here. I love that Cameron works a half a block away from our apartment. I love that we can play tennis, racquetball, basketball, swim, and exercise just here at our complex. I love that I am close to my sisters. I love that we are close to the city, close to a beach, and close to the snow.
I feel like I have taken a lot of things for granted and just wanted to write a few things. I will continue this blog soon.

We celebrated Cameron's birthday early this year since his is only 4 days after Christmas, it makes it a little harder financially and it blends into Christmas. I surprised him with tickets to see a couple of our favorite bands right now, Manchester Orchestra and The Dear Hunter in San Francisco. 2 other bands played but we didn't care much for them. Manchester Orchestra and The Dear Hunter have been the theme of our summer. We listened to them on every trip we took. We discovered The Dear Hunter back in May, and have just really fallen in love with their music. They have so many different sounds, and I can listen to them for hours and hours.
We had so much fun screaming the songs and moving around with the crowd. Manchester Orchestra was the headlining band and played a couple encore songs. We didn't know the last one so stepped out early to miss the crowd. We then saw the lead singer of The Dear Hunter, Casey, and he was the coolest guy. He took some pictures with us. We drove home, had our picture taken at a red light. I am hoping it was the car behind us that triggered the flash, because we were in the intersection when it was yellow. We also got s ticket for a toll violation because we didn't have the money to pay the toll on the way out of the city. I was so frustrated because we have left a few times before that late and never had to pay the toll. I also asked a parking attendant if we had to pay a toll leaving the city and he said you only have to coming into the city, so I didn't get more cash from the ATM. But other than that, it was an amazing memory to add to our list:) I also put some videos at the end of this post to show some of my favorite songs by the bands...
I love his voice a lot, and this song just makes me so happy for some reason.

They played this one at their show. I just think it's really pretty.
Probably my favorite song by them. They played this one as well. It gets me
in such a happy and pumped mood every time I hear it for some reason.

Little late on posting this but I now have an app from my phone so I can update my blog! It's going to be much easier since I use my phone to take all the pictures:) So before I delete my Halloween pictures on my phone, I want to share them with you readers and followers out there (so like 2 people)
Camerons work had their Halloween Celebration on Friday the 28th. Cameron was a sailor ( with EXTREMELY tight pants) and Mike was Benjamin Button. Mike's mask totally creeped me out because when he would talk it looked so real! I couldn't look at him with it on.
All my celebration stuff was on The 31st. My work had a potluck and I brought a Veggie Skeleton Tray, and made Oreo Balls (they were AMAZING!) I went as a Candy Corn and won $20 for second place prize for the contest. My boss had the best costume and let me put it on. She was a "Spice Rack" Haha! Halloween night we didn't do anything but play a Zombie game we got and had 0 trick or treaters. It was a fun day though :)

It is my wonderful brother-in-law Brock's birthday today! Brock is such a great guy and I am thankful that he is part of my family. He is one of the smartest guys I know and just one of those people who is so fun to be around. He makes you laugh and is just so nice. He is such a good father and a very patient one at that. I hope you have had a wonderful birthday Brock! You are awesome. Love you!

I have so much to say, I don't know what to say! I am completely blessed to have such a loving mother in my life. Many people don't, and I just feel so lucky. My mom is one of the sweetest ladies you will meet, and she never has anything bad to say about anyone. She is so talented too. She can play the piano so well. She is an amazing cook. And she is quite the seamstress. She made one of my homecoming dresses, made another one modest. She sewed all my costumes for when I was Belle in Beauty and the Beast, including the gold ball gown which took over 60 hours of work and 16+ yards of fabric. She sewed costumes for me for Crazy for You. She has done all the costuming for Feast of Carols and many more plays and musicals for the High School. She made my wedding dress with me living 900 miles away and made it fit perfectly. She also made my temple dress. These are all items I will keep dear to me forever, they are even more special that she made them.
I am thankful for the wonderful and spiritual home she brought me up in. I am thankful for the things she taught me. I am thankful for the memories we have made by the wonderful trips they took me on. I am thankful for her patience with me. I am thankful for her unconditional love she constantly showed me. I am thankful for everything she continues to do for me even though I am no longer at home. I love just talking with my Mom on the phone, whether it be for a minute to ask a quick cooking question, or whether it be an hour just talking about our lives. I can't do much for my Mom for her birthday, but I hope she knows how much I love her and appreciate EVERYTHING she does for me, and for Cameron and I. Happy Birthday Mom! You are the best:)

Happy Birthday Mommy Jacobs! It is my mother-in-laws birthday today and I just have to say how extremely thankful I am that I didn’t get a crazy mother-in-law! You hear horror stories, and I just feel so lucky to have Carla in my life now. She is so special, and has been through so much yet still stays positive and turns to the Lord for everything. This has been a strength in our life, and she is just such a good example of always turning to the Lord for everything. In good times and bad. She is such a spunky and outgoing person and is just so fun to be around. She makes me laugh a lotJ We love you so much and are so thankful for all you have done for Cam and I. HAPPPPPPYYY BIRTHDAY!!

Is my oldest nephew seriously 14 today?! I remember when he was born and I was only 8 years old! I feel old now, thanks Reed. Haha. I am so thankful for Reed, and just how awesome he is. He is one of the most well behaved teenagers I have ever met! He is such a sweetheart, and always willing to help. He has quite a sense of humor, and is just so fun to be around. He is such a stud at all the sports, and is super smart. His name says it all. He is quite the reader. He has actually hidden books from his Mom because they were reading the same series at the same time. He's a trickster. Well Reeder, I am so proud to have you as a nephew, and I am so lucky! I love you so much bud, I hope you have a great birthday! I love you!

It's Jeremy's Birthday today! Jeremy is such a sweetheart... He is always so concerned about those around him, and is such a selfless person. I am so thankful that I have him as a brother. He calls me randomly to see how I am doing, and those calls make my day. He is such a hard worker. He works so hard for his beautiful and wonderful family and seriously is such a great father and husband. Marcha is lucky;) Jeremy, I love you so much bro, and miss you! I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Christian Christian! I hope you had a wonderful birthday today! I love visiting Christian, and love when he visits. He is definiately the comedian in the family, and ALWAYS makes me laugh. I remember growing up and making him do "routines" for David and I, while we sat on the top or bottom bunk and he would just do improv comedy. He is amazing at it! Christian is so talented! He writes music for a living:) He is amazing at the piano, and making stuff up on that as well. I feel like I can talk to Christian about anything. He is very open minded. He is an amazing father and has one of the cutest kids ever! I feel so lucky to have him as a brother and love him so much. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTIAN!

My nephew Kelemen is getting too old! I still remember when he was born, and I just can't believe how grown up he is. This kid is one of the smartest kids I know, and has got quite the personality. He is so fun to be around, and gives me hug after hug after hug. He sure makes me feel loved...This kid has a laugh that fills up a room, and i just love it! I love you Kel, and I feel so blessed to be your Aunt! Keep smiling, and know how much I miss you and love you:)

My sweet little nephew Joe turned 6 today(I think, I can't keep track of everyone anymore). I cannot believe how grown up he is because I remember when he was born! Joe is so fun to be around and is such an obedient little kid! He loves his Uncle Cameron (I have to admit I am a little jealous because if I would go to their house without Cameron, he would always ask where he was, and didn’t seem so interested that I was there without him.) He loves to play Wii with Uncle Cameron and loves to make jokes. I am so thankful for the joy he brings to me, and I feel so lucky that I live so close to him, yet I don’t get to see him as often as I wish I should! I hope you have a wonderful birthday Joefis J Aunt Bethany and Uncle Cameron love you so much!
These are the only pictures I could find of Joe and I together. They were taken I think 3 years ago. We had lots of fun taking all these....

It's David's special day today! I have been thinking about this post for a while, because I don't really know how to put all the nice and wonderful things about David into one blog post. He is my best friend, and hero, and he has ALWAYS been there for me. We were the last two kids at home, and I am so thankful for those years we had together. It really brought us close and I just feel like I can talk to him about anything and everything. David is one of the most talented, hardworking, and nicest people I know. The brains, he's got them! A kind heart, he's got it. Athleticism, he's got it. He is a great husband to the wonderful Kasey Gentry and a great father. I love seeing him with his sweet and adorable kids. I am just so thankful to have such a great example in my life. I love you Beavey, I hope you have a great, great birthday! Here are some pictures that I found on my computer, but I know we have tons, tons more!
