Happy Birthday Emily!

My dear sister-in-law Emily Rebecca Jacobs turns 24 today. Emily amazes me in so many ways. She has been through so freaking much, but still stays optimistic and happy. I admire her so much for everything she has gone through. In case some of my readers don't know, Emily was in an accident just a little over a year ago where she lost her right leg just below the knee, and it's been trial after trial since. Roadblock after roadblock. You are always in our prayers Em.
Emily, you are gorgeous, kind hearted, and so charitable. I am so thankful that my family expanded once I married your wonderful, handsome brother. I am so thankful that I now have another older sister to look up to, and turn to for advice. I also admire your talents! I grew up in a musical family, so I know when someone's got talent.. And dang girl, you got it! I'm jealous! I want you to audition for American Idol, because I think you would go far. I hope you don't mind, that I'm going to post a video of you singing on here, because I want to brag about my sister-in-law who is going to be on American Idol someday;) I hope we get to come visit you again so soon. We miss you like crazy. Please keep your head up with everything, and know we love you so much. I hope you have a great and happy birthday!

Cameron and my wedding day...

She caught the bouquet, one leg and all. Haha.
Love her version of this... I get chills every time I hear this!

Happy Birthday Hyrum!

Hyrum Heaps turned 3 today! This little boy just melts my heart. When I first moved there last January, my name was "Ta Ta." I have no idea why I was called this. We thought it was quite hilarious. I then became "Beffy," and now "Befany." Hyrum loves to give hugs and loves to play with "Tangled" hair. After I dyed my hair red, he told me "your hair looks different." I love hearing this kid talk, and anything he says is fun. He is quite the handful, but also a bundle of joy. I hope he had a great third birthday. Aunt Bethany and Uncle Cameron feel awful for sleeping too long on our Sunday naps and missing his dessert party! Anyways, we love you so much Hy!
When little Hyrum was first born.
The Heaps came to visit Show Low a few summers ago. Cameron and Hyrum still get along to this day:)
I love this picture. He was giving me the sweetest hugs:)
This was his birthday last year. He snuck up on the counter and was taking bites out of
all the pears.
Sweet boy.
I unfortunately taught him he could fit two pacifiers in his mouth. He loved his "fafs."

Happy Birthday Lily!

Lily Dayton turned 12 today (I think... I'm awful!) She is growing up so fast! I'm pretty sure that she is taller than me now...Lily holds a special place in my heart, because she was my first niece. I was 10 when she was born I believe... She is such a sweetheart. It amazes me how obedient she is, and she is such a good helper. I wish I had more time with her...It is so nice living so close to the Dayton's now, and I'm so thankful for Lily! She is quite the little athlete too! She is in all kinds of sports, and is just a busy bee! I hope you have a great birthday Lily. We need to get together and play some basketball sometime, and I need to take you out for ice cream after that or something. I love you so much and am so thankful you are my niece.
I believe I was 10 or 11 in this picture..
Daytons visiting...
Believe this was 4 years ago?
Couple years ago...
Beautiful Lily! This was taken at my wedding.

Happy Birthday Laurel!

Miss Laurel Heaps turns 10 today! I can’t believe how big she is. Laurel amazes me. She is such a whitty, clever, smart, creative, funny, and a beautiful girl. The stuff she says and comes up with cracks me up. I was lucky enough to live with them for 8 months, and Laurel would say something funny every day. She would be up late reading or drawing, or writing funny notes. I believe she had the highest amount of points in the accelerated reading program in her school. She was at 200 something percent of her goal. She is awesome. I spent a lot of time with her at the piano when I lived there. It was something I enjoyed, even though I am sure she got annoyed with me a lot making her play the same section over and over again. I am so thankful for Laurel and the wonderful person and example she is to me. She is so sweet, and I love her big hugs she greets me with when I see her. Happy Birthday Miss Laurel. I love you!

Jeremy's Wedding..

Family reunion quite a few years ago.

Just a movie night.

she wasn't impressed with me in this one but it the most recent I have of us... haha

We were recently married on August 21, 2010 We started this blog as more of a journal for us to look back at all the good times. No matter what life brings us we are in this together and we couldn't be more happy about it. We are better together.
